What we take
Mattress Disposal
Mattresses are great until it’s time to get rid of them. They are big and bulky and can’t just go out with the bins. Doing it yourself requires time, effort, and transport – which is excellent if you have it to spare but a lot of us don’t. Thankfully, there is an alternative way that is much quicker and easier.
Responsible mattress removal and disposal
Mattresses come in all sorts of materials, often mixed, like metals, wood, natural and human-made fabrics, and different types of foam. This diverse composition makes them hard to recycle, but we do our best to donate mattresses in good condition and recycle what we can. If we can’t, then we make sure it goes to the correct disposal site.
Easy mattress collection and recycling
Here’s how to book your old mattress collection, and what we’ll do:
- You can use our enquiry form or call us to get an estimate and understand our availability.
- The day before collection, you’ll get a reminder email, and a text when the team is on their way (you can even follow them on Google Maps!)
- Show us the mattress you want removed, and we will confirm the price with you
- When you’re happy to go ahead, we process the payment, take it away and sweep up after ourselves. If you can’t be there to approve the work, we will even take photos and send them to you
We can take all sorts of mattresses:
- Memory foam mattresses
- Latex mattresses
- Foam mattresses
- Box springs
- Futons
- Sprung mattresses
- Pillows and cushions
- Water or air mattresses
Mattress disposal pricing
We mainly charge by volume, so charge one cubic yard for a double mattress or bed base and half a cubic yard for a single mattress or bed base:
- Double mattress or bed base = £40 (excl. VAT)
- Single mattress or bed base = £30 (excl. VAT)
